Carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) (Low viscosity) 10 g Polypeptone 5 g Yeast extract 5 g NaCl 5 g KH2PO4 1 g MgSO4.7H2O 2 g Agar powder 18 g Distilled water 1 L Adjust pH to 8.0-9.0. Dissolve thoroughly all components in distilled water, except CMC and agar. Add CMC and agar. Prepare 50 ml of 1M Carbonate/Bicarbonate buffer, pH 9.5. Sterilize separately.
