  • Proteose peptone nº3 0.5 g
  • Casamino Acids 0.5 g
  • Glucose 0.5 g
  • Soluble starch 0.5 g
  • Sodium pyruvate 0.3 g
  • K2HPO4 0.3 g
  • Magnesium sulfate 0.05 g
  • Agar powder 12.0 g
  • Double distilled water 1 L

pH 7.2

Alternatively, commercially available medium (Difco 218263, EMD 1.00416) can be used.

If a broth medium is desired, it can be prepared component by component without adding agar. A commercial medium such as HiMedia M1687 can also be used.
