• (NH₄)₂SO₄ 0.20 g

• Glucose 5.00 g
• KH₂PO₄ 3.00 g
• Distilled water (if liquid medium) 1 L
• Distilled water (if solid medium) 0.50 L

Adjust pH to 4.0, with H₂SO₄

Solution B:

• Trace elements sol. SL-6 (see medium 196) 1.00 ml

• Agar 15.00 g
• Distilled water 0.50 L

Sterilize solutions A, B and C separately.

For liquid medium combine solution A (prepared with 1 L distilled water) and solution B.

For solid medium combine solution A (prepared with 0.5 L distilled water), solution B and solution C.
