• MgSO₄.7H₂O 0.20 g
• CaCO₃ 1.00 g
• NaCl 0.20 g
• FeSO₄.7H₂O 0.10 g
• Na₂MoO₄.2H₂O 5.00 mg
• Agar powder (only for solid medium) 15.00 g
• Glucose 10.00 g
• Distilled water 950 ml

Dissolve salts and adjust pH to 7.2.

The solid media without glucose is steamed to dissolve the agar, and sterilize at 121 °C for 15 min.

In parallel, dissolve 10 g of anhydrous glucose in 50 ml of distilled water and sterilize by filtration. Add to the sterilized basal medium and dispense aseptically into tubes or Petri dishes.
