88. ACID TOMATO BROTH

  • Glucose 10.00 g
  • Peptone 10.00 g
  • Yeast extract 5.00 g
  • MgSO4.7H2O 0.20 g
  • MnSO4.4H2O 0.05 g
  • Filtered tomato juice 250 ml
  • Distilled water 750 ml
Adjust pH to 4.8.
After autoclaving add asseptically 0.5 ml of a 1% solution of cysteine hydrochloride sterilized by filtration.
