CERTIFICATION

Certification ISO 9001:2000
Over the last decade most companies, numerous public bodies and other institutions, have adopted different quality and control management systems of their products and processes. The Culture Collections, which supply live matter essential to the progress of basic science and its numerous applications, cannot be left out of this general trend of implanting quality control systems (SGC).
The normative UNE-EN ISO 9001:2000 represents the reference point for all the norms. It is applicable when an institution:
  1. Wishes to show its ability to supply products/services coherently that satisfy customer requirements and the applicable rules, and
  2. Aspires, on one hand, to increase customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including the processes for continued improvement of the same, and on the other hand, to ensure conformity with customer requirements and the applicable rules.

The CECT has the certification ISO 9001:2000 System of Quality Control which covers: "Preparation, sale and distribution of microorganisms: bacteria, yeasts and filamentous fungi". The double objective is to guarantee that our products and services satisfy the quality requirements of users and fulfil the applicable normative.
In accordance with the System of Quality Control, the CECT makes a claim/complaint form available to its users, one that is sent together with the strains and can be filled in on-line by selecting the following link as well as a Satisfaction Questionnaire that you can download here. Its main aim being to assess the degree of customer satisfaction and quality of our services, in order to help us continue improving them together with our system.
