| Growth conditions | Liquid media: 380 Growth temperature (in °C): 28 Incubation time: 30d Atmospheric needs: aerobic Growth remarks: Delicate and slow growing strain. This strain grows in 50 ml Falcon tubes containing 15 ml of CECT culture medium 380 (BAP MEDIUM Modified). Not shaking. Recovery of freeze-dried cells is performed by transferring the entire contents of the lyophilized ampoule to the tube (the strain does not grow on Petri plates). To confirm that the culture has not been contaminated during the recovery process, inoculate an LB or NA plate and incubate at 26-30°C. Cultivation conditions for CECT strains |
